My parents are here just until tomorrow afternoon. This weekend is going far too fast. And the fact that I will be all alone as soon as tomorrow is making my heart hurt in so many ways. I miss them....

ME WANT

Every time I go to Barnes and Noble I head right to the poetry section. I love to read and write poetry. I love to be inspired. One book I always pick up is Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair by Pablo Neruda.

That man can write! I really want to own it but never can spend the money. Pablo Neruda is by far one of my favorite poets. I really need to rent the postman again. Maybe I can get James to watch it with me, though he will be less than thrilled by the idea of subtitles. I love to copy Neruda's style and technique, his imagery and rawness for love and women. Obviously I write mine towards the male side instead but along the same lines. I can copy all I want and still I don't know if I will ever come close to being the type of writer he is, I am like a light weight up against the world champion heavy weight. That is all well and good because that man just Inspires the heck out of me!

Soap Plug

Ok I cannot get over how much I am in love with these soaps. They are super expensive so I always wait until they are on sale for 5/10. That does not happen very often. But I love this soap and the weird thing is I consider it MY soap, I put it away when guests come over and they use the generic store brand soap. James has gotten into the habit of using my good soap, I can always tell because his hands smell nice when he gets out of the bathroom. LOL what a dork I cannot believe he likes my girly soaps.
Right now I am using Tropical Pineapple, my Favorite B&BW scent is always Cherry Blossom.

Excited for Turkey day.

I cannot wait until Thanksgiving.
I am going to see the Lions play against Green Bay on Thanksgiving Day.
And the best part is the tickets were free! How you ask? Well my work has a commercial ad on a local tv station, I am actually in the commercial it is pretty neat, well anyways the guy who handles our account was talking about schoomzing us and mentioned tickets.
Well the original plan was he was going to give us six tickets for an upcoming game. Well then he calls and I answered at noon and he said he could only get two tickets for the Oct. 21st game, but then mentioned he had Tickets for the Thanksgiving game because he wasn't going to go on the holiday, so of course I said I wanted them.
I called James and he was like HELL YES!!!!! Especially when I told them they were free. So we are both super excited, I am just hoping nothing falls through with these tickets. Man now that we have our hopes up and we have been telling people. I am really excited it will be so fun to scrapbook a less than traditional Thanksgiving!
I need to go shopping for a Lions jersey to wear!!!
