How young is too young?

For sex and birth control.
All I have been hearing about in the news is about these middle school kids getting on the pill and patch. I feel like a pit has been put in my stomach and is growing. I am outraged and I am not a parent. But middle school?
When I was in middle school I didn't like boys and they sure as heck didn't like me(I was pretty ugly with thick glasses and braces).
Let me tell you I had crushes but the thought of being sexually active with a boy was not even in my mind at all. I couldn't even ask a boy to dance. I just can't imagine at the age of middle school ever being interested in anything except sleep overs and sports, school dances going to the mall, riding my bike, summer break.
I did not even have my first kiss until I was 16.
I don't understand what is wrong with people and kids these days. Middle school is too young for sex, it just shouldn't happen, and instead of birth control there needs to be more sex ed. more information being given to these school about sex so these kids know what they are doing.
Sex is everywhere in our society and these kids are growing up thinking it is fun and games and they can do it too, and that is the farthest thing from the truth.
There is no way in middle school I would have even been close to ready to be sexually active, in fact I wasn't even ready when I became so. But I refuse to believe this is what our society has come to.

Tats on Sat

So I am getting my second tattoo on Saturday with my Girl Molly. My plan is to Fill up my back so that it is like a large mural. We will see how that goes because they aren't cheap.
So I am just stuck in muck on what I want to get. I have a few ideas. And one that is just sticking sticking sticking in my mind is this one.

I want to get it on my lower back. I like it 1) because I like roses, favorite flower, already have one rose on upper back. 2) it is in the shape of a heart.
The spot it would work and look best in is lower back. Unfortunatley since I have gained weight it is not a spot I really want to show off Certain fattyness annoys me and certain stretch marks are ugly.
But I am so obsessed with this design it is all I can think about when I think about getting a tattoo.

Brrr It is freezing! It is so cold in my house. I am ok but my dogster is shivering her timbers all day and night. I just went through and closed and locked my windows. But I just don't want to trun on the heat yet. I need a way to warm the house up cheaply....

Bummed.... can't see resident evil it is at the wrong movie theater. Going to go see cheaper movie the new Die hard.
I caved I turned the heat on, sooo cold in the house and the dog shivering is breaking my heart.
Going to scrap and create this weekend. I might even paint I had some visions today and I might want to get them down on paper.
If I don't update one more time tonight have a good night.

Revamping

So last night I decided that I was going to change my template.
So I saved the old html and put in the new. So I wanted to incorp all my stuff like my blogs I read and my links and my sj ring. Well for some reason the old html will not work now.
Crap.
So I have spent random times today changing it around to my liking. I am keeping my old blog header for now until I can(or someone artsy) can come up with something that will work with my new look. I like that you can add page elements much easier now and there is less to do in the actual html look, but I cannot get my sj ring back and it is annoying the crap out of me.
I think this weekend I will offer a challenge with a prize to anyone who can come up with some awesome headers for me.

The weather is cooler, no more 80's no more humidity, just cold mornings and cold evenings.

Leaves are blowing around everywhere.

Soon James and I will get pumpkins to carve.

Soon we will be thinking of fun costumes to wear.

This Saturday I am walking for Breast Cancer, a cause really enjoy donating time and money towards. I also donate to Katy Bishop animal fund, CAN council -child abuse.

What are some things in my house that I could not live without?

1 My candles:
yankee, oil wax, partylite, I love smelly scenty candles. Tea lights wax tarts anything that burns and smells yummy I love. I probably light a candle every day it is a habit now when I am in the basement to light a candle, or two or three....

2 My dog:
Does she count as a thing? I love this little being that gives so much purpose and entertainment in my life. I realize every day without her I would be so so so alone, totally alone, totally alone in a house all night. I am so thankful that she follows me around and when I sit down she has to be on there with me. I am thankful she is excited to go to bed with me and when I wake up I know that by the time I get the coffee brewing she is waiting for her nuggies. I could eat her up my lil cutie pootie puppy-o.

3 My Bed:
I sleep an insane amount, especially recently with my stress and life levels, school and work and everything in between is just dragging me down. I love that for naps and long refreshing sleeps I can go in my bed and it comforts my back pains and it smells like sleepyness. I just could not live without my bed, no others compare.

4 My Directv
I love being able to Veg and watch soapnet all night when I just need to shut my brain off. I like that I have a lot of options and I get to see my fav shoes, nip/tuck, rescue me, scrubs, satc. Stuff I would not be able to see if I didn't have some kind of cable.

5 My coffee table
I never had one until I lived on my own and now I could never live without it. Even though 90% of the time I have it covered with notebooks and mail and coasters it just fits in my living room. I eat at it study at it and when I lay on the couch anything I am doing or eating I can rest on my coffee table and it is right there.

6 My journals
I love writing if I could write all day instead of go to school and work I would. I try to get into the habit of writing every night before bed but that does not always work. I used to have weekly writing meetings with a friend but schedules always conflict. I am loving all my empty journals I have waiting for my thoughts and vents and good bad and ugly poems. I love looking through the stuff I already have written.
